We hosted an event with a topic of Generative A.I.on Tuesday, June 13th The event was a big success with over 50 alumni participating in the event. The topic, “Generative A.I” was, as expected, a timely one - all of us intently listened to the speakers and learned.
We had the following 2 expert alumni, each making a short presentation followed by Q&A:
Jerry Chi (G12/WG12), Head of Japan, Stability AI on "How generative AI may change the world - big dreams and practical examples"
Randy Han (G16/WG15), Global Account Executive, Google on "How to amplify your business with AI"
We also thank the moderator, Ken Hara (WG14), for his skillful job in asking all the relevant and thought-provoking questions.
Lastly, we thank those who participated to make this event successful.
Our next event will be held on July 18 (Tuesday) - this is likely to be the last networking event over this summer. As we are going to have a number of current students and recent graduates, we hope many of you can join and network.
If any of you are interested in working with us to organize these events or any other events, we would be keen to have volunteers.
