On March 2, Prof. John Paul MacDuffie, Professor of Management at Wharton, provided us with an exciting session on "Who Will Prevail? “The Dinosaurs” (Automotive OEMs)? “The Newcomers” (Tech Companies)? … or Both?".  Prof. MacDuffie auto industry guru as he began auto industry research in 1985 while working on Ph.D. at MIT Sloan through International Motor Vehicle Program (IMVP).  He has been faculty member at Wharton since 1990, stayed connected to IMVP which moved to Wharton’s Mack Institute in 2013 with new name and focus of PVMI.  He has provided us with insightful analysis on future automobile industry and challenged stereo-typed views such as mobility as a service would replace car ownership, etc.  Thanks to his fascnating talk, 90 minutes including Q&A passed very quickly.
