Prof. Yilmaz seminar

We had a special seminar by Professor Bilge Yilmaz at the conference room of NO&T on May 16, 2017.  Bilge gave us a lecture on "Shareholder Activism: Framework and Key players".  Starting with what shareholder activism is, he also showed activism is on the rise in globally, while hedgefunds overall are in decline.  Then, deep dive in to the framework from step 1 to 4 and talked about key players such as proxiy advisory firm.  He noted that the course of Shareholder activism is very recently developed and taught at Wharton and no other business schools have such a latest course.  We all apprecaited the priviledge of taking such a wonderful session.  After the session, 15 alumni enjoyed dinner and talk with Bilge and closed it with Ipponjime!
